Brett Kinley Commits to the Storm

Friday, June 10, 2016

The Campbell River Storm Junior Hockey Club is pleased to announce the commitment of 1999 born forward Brett Kinley for the upcoming 2016-17 season.

In 6 games with the Storm last season as an AP, Kinley picked up four points, including three goals, and made an impact when he was on the ice. General Manager and Head Coach, Lee Stone, describes his play, “He’s a guy that plays super aggressive and plays the system perfectly well.”

The 5’ 10”, 155 pound forward spent the past two seasons with the North Island Silvertips (BCMML) accumulating 19 points and 154 penalty minutes.

His best hockey memory to date is scoring his first Junior hockey goal, set up by Colin Blake, on January 26th against Westshore.

When asked about the most attractive feature of committing to the Campbell River Storm, Kinley, from Powell River, offered a two word answer. “The fans!”
