Carson Woolcott Signed

The Campbell River Storm are pleased to announce the signing of 2007-born forward Carson Woolcott from Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut.

The Lake Forest, California native recorded six goals and 12 assists for 18 points in 21 games during the 2025-26 season.

Woolcott is looking forward to joining the Storm and becoming part of the Campbell River community.

“I am looking forward to getting involved with the community of Campbell River and playing in front of a passionate fan base,” said Woolcott.

“The Storm felt like the right fit for my growth as a person and a hockey player. Hearing about the team’s strong culture and community support made my decision easy.”

A versatile two-way forward, Woolcott brings speed, energy and a commitment to playing responsibly in every area of the ice.

“Fans can expect a high-energy and hardworking style of play every shift,” Woolcott said. “I pride myself on being a complete 200-foot player who can make plays and be reliable in all three zones. I look up to Nick Suzuki’s style of play and try to model my game after his.”

Storm Head Coach and General Manager Lee Stone believes Woolcott possesses the character and leadership qualities to make a significant impact in Campbell River.

“Carson comes highly recommended and is the type of young man we want in our dressing room,” said Stone. “A captain at his prep school, we believe he has leadership qualities that will be evident even as a first-year player.”

“His skating immediately stands out as something that fits our program’s style of play. He plays a fast game and will help improve our team speed.”

“We’re very excited to welcome Carson to the Storm family!”
