Storm Sign Forward Anderson Lewis
CAMPBELL RIVER, BC — The Campbell River Storm of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League announced today the signing of forward Anderson Lewis, a 2009-born product of the Victoria Hockey Academy 18U program.
Lewis skated in 20 games with Victoria Hockey Academy’s 18U squad last season, posting 7 goals and 9 assists for 16 points in the JPHL’s 18U division.
“I am super excited to join a great culture and such a storied team. I’m also looking forward to playing with some of my best buddies,” said Lewis. “I can’t wait to get on the ice and in the gym everyday and Friday nights at the Brindy. Fans can expect to see a reliable centre who can play on both sides of the puck.”
Storm Head Coach and General Manager Lee Stone praised the addition of the North Island prospect.
“Anderson is a high-end prospect from the North Island and we are thrilled he’s chosen our program as the next step in his development,” said Stone. “He is strong on both sides of the puck, has great playmaking vision and does a tremendous job possessing the puck, extending and making plays. We are very excited to get to work with Anderson this season!”
Lewis will look to make an immediate impact as the Storm continue to build toward the 2026-27 season.
