 Jan 27, 2010 - Storm players will be reading to kids at the arena on behalf of Campbell River Literacy Now on National Literacy Day.
Jan 16, 2010 - Storm players will be at the Campbell River Library in support of the Library's annual Literacy Event!
Dec 6, 2009 - The Storm is going to participate in the Winterfest Parade, Sunday December 6th from Tyee Plaza to CR Common.
Dec 4, 2009 - We are hosting a Teddy Bear Toss at our home game on Friday, December 4th. Fans can bring a Teddy Bear to toss on the ice after the first Storm goal is scored. Teddy Bears are given to kids during the annual CR Hospital visit in December and left over bears are used for the needy family food & gift drive that the Storm are participating in.
Nov 20, 2009 - Storm are sponsors of the Rotary TV Auction that raises money to help out the many causes the Rotary Club supports.
Nov 2, 2009 - Parade of Colours & Olympic Torch Relay. The Storm are now included as participants in the Parade of Colours to be followed by the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay.
The Parade of Colours will begin between 3 and 3:30pm and will pass through the streets of Campbell River and end up at Spirit Square.
Oct 25, 2009 - Kinsmen Hallowe'en Skate-A-Thon, at Strathcona Gardens Arena 2 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Sponsored by the Kinsmen, Dairy Queen, and many more sponsors.
